    Sweet! 341 is OVER!

    Ahhhh I feel so free right now. My 341 was today and if I had not found this site I would have been a mess. It was at 1:00 right after lunch so I could not hear any other peoples cases. My lawyer did not show up till 3 minutes before they started and I was first. If I had not read so many posts about the meeting I would have been sick with worry. I swear she only asked about 8 questions and they were all yes/no answers, VERY simple and she said I was done. I bet it did not even take 3 minutes

    Its over guys!!

    My lawyer said that since she did not mention taking my tax refund that I should not worry about it, and if they ask for it before I file than I will have to deal with it, but he said I will probably get to keep it

    I felt so bad for this woman who sat next to me in the waiting room. She was crying and very upset. Her husband left her for another woman and she lost everything! He wont even pay child support. I am thankful that my situation was not as bad as that, but I felt horrible for her.

    I have a HUGE weight off my shoulders now..... I just have to wait it out now

    Now just relax the 60 days will be over before you know it. Congrats and welcome to the 60 day club even though I just handed over my membership because my 60 days came and went. LOL.

        Ummmmmmm what is that? LOL!!! Did you have a kid sitting on your lap while typing? It is so nice being able to just relax FINALLY!! I retained my lawyer back in February so I am going to enjoy this...

          LOL!!!! LOL!!! my three year did that LOL, I can't believe he figured how to post. I have type 1 diabetes and sometimes when I walk away from my computer my three year son will email my friends (I have no idea how he figured out how to do that) and my friends use to think my blood sugar was low. I must remember to lock my computer but I have to show my husband this one LOL

            Congrats! Let the 60days go by fast for all of us!

            That was so cute!!! I can't wait until my little one rolls over

            The wife, Fresh's son wishing you well is good luck!! For some reason, knowing others here have little ones makes me feel better, as a new mom, at first I felt like a failure as a parent, but I realize that what I am doing is a million times better for our future, and I am not working my butt off to barely make ends meet and miss that precious time with her. Except for bk, I am living my dream

              Congrats, Wife!!

              Even tho all BK filers are in bad shape, financially, some are in worse over all shape than others.

              I feel for that poor lady too. My Sis is dealing with the D word right now and it has not been a picnic.

                I have an 18month old and a 4 year old and the 18month old loves to pound on the keys. One of these days you will probably see a post from her as well. Though I was impressed that your little one got the smilies in there.

                Your little one also left us a message in this post http://www.bkforum.com/showthread.php?t=18003 a couple of weeks ago. Funny enough it is also a post from someone saying their 341 meeting is over.

                  My husband and I also felt horrible for the first two people we heard at the 341 meeting. One woman was divorced, it was the second time she was filing, and her ex owed her tons of back child support. And there the trustee is saying that if she recieves any of that back support it needs to go to the bk estate. Also one couple before us just seemed so lost and confused through the whole thing and their lawyer wasn't very good and he wasn't much help.

                      Congrats!!!!! I hope mine goes that easy.

                      Freshstart06 - I have a 3 year old, too. You all could possibly see a post from me like that one day, lol. And I have a 7 month old so it will be a while before he'll be punching the keys (but probably not too long).

                        This just too funny, Jolly, I had no idea he did this before. I have four kids and his sisters all have computers so I am sure he is learning a lot from them. My husband is going to build him a computer this weekend so he can stay off ours LOL. But, yes, he has the smilely down, I quess he is wishing everyone good luck.

                        Everyone that has little ones, I quess we have to remember to lock our computers when we walk away.

                          We've talked about building our four year old a computer out of old parts as well. We are also considering getting him the Easy Link™ Internet Launch Pad http://www.fisher-price.com/us/produ...t.asp?id=41685 for christmas but haven't done either yet.

                            Yes, easylink is what we are getting for our five and three year old. My husband built all of our computers. We have five computer and some kind of server Total price was well under $500. he goes to this recycle computer place and gets parts.
