Can A New Job Affect 341 Meeting

I am scheduled for my 341 meeting next week. About three weeks ago I got a job (after six months of not working) and was wondering if my BK could be declined because I now have an income. There is no gurantee I will remain in the job but even if I do could a trustee decline a BK on the basis of getting a job after filing?

Technically your situation has changed. When the trustee asks if all the paperwork is correct to the best of your knowledge, you will be under oath and you have to tell him that it's NOT, unless you want to lie.
Do you have an attorney to help you with the paperwork?

Well, technically, in a chapter 7, money earned after you file your petition is not part of the bankruptcy estate, so the trustee would have no right to it, even if you got a new job.

It will probably depend on the overall circumstances, but you would certaintly want to have an attorney to help you with this.
