new job after discharge or closing?

I stay at home w/ my 2 daughters, 8 months and 4 yrs old. I need to get some more income in now that my youngest is old enough and all. We live w/ a parent so my DH and I would really like to get out on our own again.

Is it safer to wait until after discharge or closing of the case before I start looking for work? I don't expect to get much more than a part time anyway but I also don't want to throw a wrench into this disaster. It's bad enough already.

So, which is better? after discharge or after closing?

I think yiou just have to wait until after your 341 meeting. At least that is what I am told. I need to get back part time as well, we need the money with our extra very expensive dental expenses

Yes, it is recommended that one waits until after the 341 Hearing.

        My attorney told me this:

After the 341 meeting, the only thing that counts is a significant inheritance or lottery win. Other than that, you are pretty much good to go.

Even after just filing, according to him income changes of a few hundred or so are pretty much not relevant. You reprt changes since filing and before the 341 that are in that range, but he said that rarely do those even result in a problem.

Just wait until after your 341.

        341: 10/13, went well!
        Discharged 12/17/2009
