What if 341 is rescheduled

My 341 was originally scheduled for August 21st and then later postponed until Sept. 26th. I already have received feedback from sharp people such as Sinking Fast that my 60 day countdown starts from the original date that was set for my 341 - August 21st. I'm just sitting here feeling a lot of anxiety. I believe Sinking Fast because she is such a sharp poster. I would like to know if anyone else has had a similar experience ?

The same exact thing happened to me. Mine was postponed almost a month later due to the trustee having an emergency to attend to. And yes, you are in the 60 day club! I actually felt better about it because I knew I would only have about 30 days left after the new 341. Also, I had shown up for my original date and sat through about 10 cases before I knew mine was canceled. Seeing everyone come and go smoothly set my mind at ease. Good luck! I am sure everything will go just fine.

That's great Frankie's Mom. Sinking Fast laid out the law for me on this issue, but I just wanted to see if anyone has had a similar experience. So I guess as of August 21st I became an official member of the 60 day club!

I'm really surprised that the powers that be would not have your 60 day waiting period start from the actual 341 date, as opposed to the original date that it was set.

Sounds positive; but weird. you would think that they would have closed that loophole somehow.

The original date sets your discharge date

So yes you are in the 60 day club

I thought it is 60 days from 'conclusion' of the 341 meeting.

No. 60 days from the first scheduled 341 date. Not all 341's are done in one day. Many are "continued", as the case may involve distribution of assets.
