He is on his way to work now. Hopefully, we will know something around 8:30 am or 9am.

still no word, it is almost 10 am and they are telling him they don't know where he going to go tomorrow but he has to be out of that department by tomorrow. OH well....
I am just worried if the don't find a place he will get layed off or worse fired.

Sorry for your stress, but can't help noticing what a weird place to work...never heard of such things. "You're being moved, we don't know where, or even if the unknown department can take you on...come back tomorrow and see what turns out." Crazy! Anyway, good luck w/ the meeting.

I was working as a temp at a mortgage company. I was up for consideration to be hired perm. and then they looked at my credit report. They declined to hire me. I had to leave that very day. No job. 2 judgements just filed that week against me. More in collections. I had to borrow money from family for the lawyer and living expenses for my husband and I. I filed for BK that month, 2 months later, yes, 2 months without income, I got a 2 month temp job. During that time, had my 341, and then my discharge. Now, I have a long term temp job! I guess filing for BK helped me! OH, BTW, the mortgage company that let me go is now laying people off! I think God did not want me to work there anyway!
                      BK Ch7 filed May 31, 2007, Discharged August 28, 2007!!

I truly think things happen for a reason. When one door closes another will open and it will be much better. My husband actually is just floating around the office. They found him another area to "sit" but he is still interviewing with other depts. Kind of weird to get paid fr doing nothing. I just feel he needs to find something quick, I don't know how long they will keep paying him for doing nothing.

Since you've never indicated an industry, it must be a government job.
I used to have a life, now I have grandkids.

Yes, it is a government jot, he is a software engineer, everything at his job is so hush, hush.
