Yes, the word is Hooptie, slang for big old beat up car but runs and I don't care what anyone thinks because my car gets me where I need to go!!! LOL.

Slang used for 35 year olds and younger, hip hop crowd. LOL> I remember that word in highschool

The only "purpose" an auto has is to get you from one place to another!!!!! BUT MOST FOLKS "think" they have to do it in style.............lol

Me, I'd rather be "debt free" then "stylish" any ole day...........

Actually Minny, I 'd put one caveat in there. A car just serves to get you from point a to point b IN FEWER THAN 2 TRIPS. Ha - i've had a few that were debatable.

We surrendered our 1997 GMC Safari AWD and bought a $750 1988 Dodge truck for me to drive, and thanks to a bunch of help from the in laws, will be getting a 2002 Grand Caravan to replace the 2003 Chevy Venture. I have four kids, so we gotta have a van. . . .
