NACBA = National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys
One atty I spoke with in another state (via net) who was very helpful, recommended I choose someone from their membership. Since he had gone out of his way to answer my question for free, I am considering choosing someone from this group: www.nacba.com. (The guy I liked was Brett Weiss, in Maryland - www.brettweiss.com/bankruptcy. Can't say he's good or not but at least he helped me out by answering a question for free.)
But, any bk attorney can join NACBA, so it doesn't mean they're good, really. But NACBA are advocates for debtors and bankruptcy attorneys and have access to latest info about bankruptcy and listserv to other members, so that could be a good thing.
