Good News I Think?

good evening to all....I still may have to amend my petition to add a creditor even though the 341 is over....now this does not change my income or expenses, just adds an old credit card account....ok not too concerned about that.....this is where i'm
happy.....just went on pacer and this is what it said.......


Trustee's Report of No Distribution: Trustee of this estate reports and certifies that the trustee has performed the duties required of a trustee under 11 U.S.C. 704 and has concluded that there are no assets to administer for the benefit of creditors of this estate. The Meeting of Creditors has been closed and the Proof of Income has been reviewed. The trustee has received no funds or property of the estate, and paid no monies on account of the estate. Wherefore, the trustee prays that this report be approved and the trustee be discharged from office..

Is this a good thing and will the amendment change things as far as the trustee goes? I hope not.....in a good mood.....guzzie

It's a good thing - your trustee hasn't found anything worth going after. Your discharge should be right around the corner - congratulations, guzzie!!

Adding a non-secured creditor to your case shouldn't change anything. Try to get it done before the discharge if possible though.

Hmmm, my discharge came first (end of January), than end of March came the same letter guzzie had, I'm still waiting for my case to actually close though.
