Tomorrows the DAY!!

I am so excited, tomorrow is our deadline for objections. Talked to the lawyer the other day and he said so far there are no objections and he doesn't think there will be. Woohooo........

This day has been a long time coming and I am so excited for it to come and go and start my sons birthday party Saturday debt free. Not to mention my hubby got a bonus from work yesterday. Not only debt free but with a little extra cash to my name.

my goodness, if I was you, i would go to sleep like at 5 pm and wake up at Midnight to just jump up and down. Right now, because my last day for objections is in Oct. it just seems like only a dream. I can't wait. I keep daydreaming about that day. It is just so encouraging to see that almost all no asset chapter 7 case close and discharge. with my trustee all of his chapter 7 no asset cases closed on time, the asset cases only took additional month or two. Also, it appears that all cases closed a week after discharge so I will not have to wait long.

I am so happy for you. Don't forget the us "kind of still in debt people"

i know how you feel! our last day will be monday! just wish i didnt have the weekend to deal with waiting. i checked pacer yesterday and noone is objecting and im not gonna check it again until tuesday morning. good luck to you! woohoo! congrats!

Hmmm, do creditor usually wait until the last day to object??? That is scary. I truly think you are free. Heck, I can't wait until my meeting. I filed on June 26, I have no idea why I have to wait until the end of Aug. for the trustee meeting.

Usually the 341 meeting is within 6 weeks of filing your petition. This gives the Trustee time to get all the paperwork, talk to his creditors, and look over everything before he meets with you.......

I'm just glad the wait wasn't 3 months or more..........lol

Be patient, it will all be over so quickly, it will surprise you......

Don't worry the meetings are usually 5 minutes or so. Ours was 5 minutes went in aswered questions and then off we went to have a yummy lunch. Hardly put a damper on our day. And heck since it was a monday Jeff got to stay home from work and the kids got to spend more time with daddy.
