OK, I guess I'm a little worried about something. Our Attny has not explained it to us very well.
We want to reaffirm one of our vehicles, but our budget is negative and our Attny won't sign off unless our budget is at least $0.00.
So she said we need to show a little more income for them to sign off on the reaffirmation agreement.
I started working for my father (2nd job), after filing, making an extra $300/month, and our Attny said this will be enough for them to sign the reaffirmation.
So we have to amend our filing with that increase in income as well as our intention to surrender our 2nd vehicle.
My question is: since we barely passed our means test how will this affect it?
Increasing our income by $300 and decreasing expenses by $600 (2nd vehicle payment & operating costs).
That's an extra $900 in disposable income, right?
Or is the means test simply a snapshot of our income & expenses the day we filed and anything after the fact has no effect?????
