The authorized user should check their credit reports several months after the primary card holder files bk to ensure that card is reporting correctly on their credit report. If it shows like the authorized user filed, then they need to get that corrected immediately.
Now if the second person is a card co-signer, then that's totally different. Then the second person (married or not) becomes financially responsible for paying the full amount on the card after the primary card holder files.I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
