Maybe not, but we need a lot more information than this to help you sort this out.

You're in the Ch 7 area, so are you thinking about filing Ch 7? What state do you live in? What is the size of your family? What's your family's annual gross income and how much of that has been earned in the last six months? Have you used your credit cards in the last 90 days? Have you made a payday loan in the last 70 days? When do you plan to file Ch 7?

If you can answer these questions for us, that will help us help you better.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

    06/01/06 - Filed Ch 13
    06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
    07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
    09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
    08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

    10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

There is also the practical question...if you stop work, can you pay your expenses?

It is probably not fraud. However you do need to sit down and do the budget.

I assume there is a second income coming into the household to pay your daily expenses.

Would you be saving more on daycare, taxes, gas to and from work, and other work related expenses than you currently earn? It is suprising how often we do the math and discover that the whole paycheck goes to working. In that case it really makes more sense to quit if that is what you want to do.
Or can you REALISTICALLY trim the budget enough to make up for any lost income while you say home?

I did JUST that, but then decided we needed SOME money from me, so I put my daughter in part-time daycare and I work part-time now.
