    Pacer Entry Today

Just checked Pacer and the following was posted: "Trustee's Closing Report & Application for Final Decree and Trustee's Discharge Filed by Trustee"

Does this mean my case is cosed? It doesn't say closed the the main page but isn't this the same?

    Sure sounds that way.

Different Trustees use differing verbage for Closed. Our Trustee posts Terminated instead of Closed. Terminated could mean lots of things, but for him it means Closed. If your case is Dismissed, he says Dismissed.

Sounds like Congrats are in order, Possum!!

    Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
    Discharged - 12/2006
Officially Declared No Asset - 03/2007
    Closed - 04/2007

Anyone have any idea when my case will be posted as "closed" after the trustee submits his "Trustee's Closing Report & Application for Final Decree and Trustee's Discharge" ?

Stretching for the final celebration dance.............been almost 2 years to get here.

Appreciate all of the positive comments and help from this forum.

            Depends on your Court.

Our Court has a mandatory 30 day waiting period after the last official posting before the Clerk will close a case. The Clerk does all Closings the end of each month. So if your last official posting was early in the month, you could actually wait 7-8 weeks to see "Closed".

Best bet would be to call your Clerk's office. Ask what the procedure is in your Court/District. You might be seeing Closed real soon, or you might have to wait a bit. Really depends on the Rules of your Court.
