How accurate is TrueCredit.com? Do I have false hope???

OK, so I thought our credit scores had gone UP since we filed b/k, but the more I look online the more I am afraid that the truecredit.com scores are just estimates. The base number (pre-filing) that I used was the score that the credit counseling place gave me when I did my pre-filing education. It was 450. Then, shortly before my 341 I signed up for truecredit.com and found my scores to be much higher (see below). I thought, wow, that's cool! And then I heard that Equifax actually WAS a FICO score. And so I thought that was what the lenders would use. But now I'm thinking NONE of these are accurate and that I may have false hope that my score has actually IMPROVED. How can I know??? Anyone ever test this company and see if it's accurate???

    Thanks!

EDITED TO ADD: I went to MyFico.com to check my score... boo hoo... and it is only 465~ still higher than it was pre-filing, but not nearly as high as I'd hoped. Oh well. In time, in time

For sure, a mortgage lender will use your FICO's. CC issuers will pull the CRA's, so you may be able to get some credit with the scores you have from TU, EQ, & EX. I'd advise not to be in a rush. Compare your fico reports to the cra reports and take advantage of inconsistencies to clean them all up. Your fico's will come up, it just may take some time. If you read the forums here, you'll see that most successful methods seem to be consistently cleaning up, go on a mini app spree, maybe getting 1 or 2 lines of credit, then REST. Continue good payments, planning your next app spree in 3-6 months, then spree followed by rest - For sure, get a Crown Jewelers account and but a cheap trinket so it will report.

Your post got me thinking about my scores, Experian says my score is 519 but FICO says my score is only 478..... ahhh I prefer the other. Wish I knew what my FICO score was before filing.

        my scores

EQ 499 EX 464 TU 517 i'm using citi credit monitoring.some of my bills i included in bankruptcy is not showing ''included in bankruptcy" yet but it's still too early i will watch this carefully.but some have reported as ''included in bankruptcy'' .i had some paydays loans i took out months ago, they have not reported any thing what so ever like they never happened. But they are included in bankruptcy. Counting down my 60 days 59,58,57,56,etc citi credit monitor lets you do credit analyzes.if i create a scenario of all my bills reporting ''included in bankruptcy'' my equifax score of 499 would jump up to 542 in 30 days.well gives me some idea.
