OK, so I thought our credit scores had gone UP since we filed b/k, but the more I look online the more I am afraid that the truecredit.com scores are just estimates. The base number (pre-filing) that I used was the score that the credit counseling place gave me when I did my pre-filing education. It was 450. Then, shortly before my 341 I signed up for truecredit.com and found my scores to be much higher (see below). I thought, wow, that's cool! And then I heard that Equifax actually WAS a FICO score. And so I thought that was what the lenders would use. But now I'm thinking NONE of these are accurate and that I may have false hope that my score has actually IMPROVED. How can I know??? Anyone ever test this company and see if it's accurate???
Thanks!
EDITED TO ADD: I went to MyFico.com to check my score... boo hoo... and it is only 465~ still higher than it was pre-filing, but not nearly as high as I'd hoped. Oh well. In time, in time
Thanks!
