I went on medication for anxiety after filing. Somedays it works better than other days.
The OCD tends to go away as you get more answers...the state of limbo that they keep us in is what causes the OCD.
In my case, after the case was filed (Ch13), nobody ever looked at a Sch J again, even with an amendment and even after I told them that the original income figure was understated.
Good luck.Last edited by Granny; 04-30-2007, 03:56 AM.I used to have a life, now I have grandkids.

You don't really need to stress over getting things exact.
Any attny you hire is gonna dink with your numbers anyway.
Most attnys will use your actual rent/mortgage, auto insurance, utilities, cell phone, cable bill, and such. Things you have hard and fast, concrete bills for on a monthly basis.
The rest of the stuff,............ Food, clothes, car maintenance/repairs/gasoline, hair care, etc,......... Attnys plug in numbers the Court is used to seeing.
You may get your real expenses if you spend more than normal and have receipts to prove you do. Say you work in a neighboring town 70 miles away, and drive 140 miles round trip to work every day. You're gonna spend way more on gas, maintenance, and repairs than the average person.
You'll get money in areas too. More than likely, you haven't bought any amount of clothes for a while. Haven't been to the doctor, dentist, eye doctor like you should. Maybe you haven't been out to the movies in eons. Things normal folks with a balanced budget do on a regular basis. Your attny will allow for clothes, medicals, and Entertainment when you haven't actually spent money in those areas.
Gather what numbers you can, as best you can. Let your attny worry about the rest.
If you're filing Pro Se,........... Look at some cases filed by attnys on PACER. See what numbers attnys are using.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
