My trustee needs bank statement for last 6 months. i thought it was very unusually, anyway the problem is I made a payment to my relative which I did not disclose and that transtion is on one of the statement, I am sure trustee will see that transtion. What should I do? I need some help? should I amend that say I forgot to mention that payment. Any suggestion will help me.

How much was the payment for ? More than $600 ??? Was it a check specifically written to that relative ? Well, you could always say you overlooked it, worst comes to worst the Trustee will seek that payment back from your relative. I had a $700 withdrawal on one of my statements, I noticed it was highlighted when the Trustee was looking through his papers, he never mentioned anything at the 341 meeting, but it was pretty obvious why the money and where the money was withdrawn FROM (at a casino).

The keyword, "oh my gosh, I overlooked THAT!" (( Maybe the Trustee just might "overlook it," so don't remind him/her unless it is brought up!")) I didn't question why the Trustee highlighted that big withdrawal I figure it is up to him to ask me, and for me not to question or remind him.July 2006: Filed Ch13

When the Trustee goes thru your bank statements, the, "Oh, Yeah. I forgot about that." might, or might not get you off.
But it won't get your relative off. The Trustee will probably go after that $4K. Your relative should be prepared to cough up the cash.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
