My hubby just called from work... I swear he has the best boss ever. So his boss found out about us filing BK from the payroll dept, and took Jeff aside and said that starting next week he would be making $14 an hour (he makes $12.50 now) and that starting today for a couple weeks he can work an hour over time everyday. And that he will be getting a quartlerly bonus in the next month or so, not sure when since they just got new computers and they have to get the kinks out. And after Jack (the boss) gets back from vacation he wants to take us out to lunch.

I am so darn happy, that raise is really going to help. And so is the overtime, especially since we have to go buy our 2 year old glasses and he is going to have alot of dr's appointments in the next few months.

That's certainly good news for you and your family. It's a great blessing to have come at a time when you are on your way to financial freedom. Keep in mind, as it may not even be an issue, but you may have to disclose the raise and bonus at the 341, as it is usually asked if you have had a change in income. You might want to bring this up to your attorney to be on the safe side of that.

I thought about that after my hubby called, and I called the attorney a few minutes later. He doesn't think it will affect anything especially since we are still well under the median income and we will be having more dr bills coming because of all the tests and appointments our oldest will be having in the next couple months.

I can't wait. July can't get here fast enough. we'll celebrate oldest sons 3rd birthday and our discharge hopefully on the same day (July 20th).
