internet payday loans?

So a while back we had some rough months and got several internet paydays. We included them in the petition. But the other day we got the papers from the court and our attorney that says they could not send out notice to them because we could not find an address for the companies. It also states "... that a creditors failure to recieve notice of your case could mean the debt owed to that creditor may not be discharged."

AHHHH.... I have searched and searched, I've emailes, even called. I can not get the addresses for these places. The most I've gotten is fax numbers. I don't know what to do.

Any suggestions?

Also what happens later on down the road if we forgot a creditor?

So I really am new to this... we are including all the medical bills from my c-section and hospital stay when we had our 2nd son. This may be stupid but would I still be able to see my ob/gyn? or would I need to find myself a new dr?

The bk system has not quite caught up with virtual companies and how to notify them. We have some very expert computer searchers here - what are the company names and website addresses? We'll see if we can help you dig out some information about them.

If you live in the Ninth Circuit Court District, if what you owe the creditor would have been discharged if you had listed them, this district has said that the forgotten debt will be discharged. If you live in any other circuit court district, then it depends on how that district's trustees and the US Trustee is handling the situation. Some say you have to open your case again to add them .

Depends on the doctor. Some doctors understand and will continue to see you (although they may require full payment up front to do so). Others will request that you find another doctor. Since you filed Ch 7 and will likely be discharged in a few months, if you really love your ob and don't want to find another one, after your case is closed, you could consider an arrangement with the doctor's office to pay him/her back what is owed.

I am having the same problem with a payday loan company called US Fast Cash. They refuse to give me their address..they just tell me I can western union them the money!
To make matters worse..they call me at work every day and get quite nasty on the phone. So, until they give me their address, I, too am stuck! My lawyer had called and asked me to get an address for them, but they will not cooperate. I have even tried to lie to them by telling them that I would mail them a money order because I dont have a checking account and cant afford the western union fee, but they STILL won't give out the address. They are obviously very shady! Once this is all over, I will NEVER do business with an online payday loan company again!

Finding addresses

Usually you can go to www.whois.org and enter the website address. This will give you the contact information for who owns the website and their address.

Whois is a good suggestion, however Whois may not work on some of these as they usually register by proxy. Usually you can type in the name of the company and the word "address" in google to find them. You may have to look through several posts.

How do I find out if I'm in the ninth circuit court district?

Here's a map of all the US Courts districts - http://www.uscourts.gov/courtlinks/ . The Ninth District is all western US states - California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, and Montana.

I see you've already gotten some great leads on the payday loan addresses. I just love all the wonderful people here who know so much and are willing to help out someone in need! Way to go, forum members!
