I'm so nervous

I found out my petition was FINALLY mailed to us on Monday, so I should be getting it soon for review. Our attorney said we could file Chapter 7, but when I did the Schedules I showed $400 disposable income. When I told her that, she said not to worry. She doesn't have ANY of my expenses (that I can remember anyway), so I'm very nervous to see what she came up with.

I'm so afraid the Trustee isn't going to allow us an Exemption on the house we're living in because we're buying it on Land Contract, we think we may have some unused exemption left if they do allow it to cover some other things. Sigh......

I'm so NOT a patient person. LOL

Different states/district/trustees have different ways of doing things. We never gave our attorney our expenses either, I am sure she just filled the blanks in with what the court was used to seeing. The expenses were really off, for instance for food she put $50 a month for a family of 4 (includes 2 6'4" teenage boys)...uh yeah, right. The trustee never asked about any of it.

Good luck to you! If you trust your attorney... then trust her judgement If she thinks it will be okay and has plenty of experience, I bet it will be
