Question about repossession

If you give up a vehicle in bankruptcy, but are current on payments up until you file, do they still mark on your credit report "repossession?"

My previous car was about to be repossed when we used our tax refund to pay it off.. on our credit report it says paid, was a reposession.

But I would think with giving it up in bankruptcy that it would say included in bankruptcy not repossession since it was given up not reposessed
