    hi again
    does anyone know if a motorcycle is concidered a motorvehicle the same as a car in chapter 7.
    I own a motorcycle which i ride only for recreational purposes.

    Yep. A motorcycle is a motor vehicle.

      We had to buy back our motorcycle. If you aren't upside down and you have another vehicle, your motorcycle will be an asset.

        thanks for your response... the motorcycle is an old 93 yamaha. probably worth $1000. Its my first bike for practice and i ride on the weekends. do you think i will lose it?

          Maybe you can fit it in under the personal property exemption.



          Have you spoken with a couple of bk lawyers yet?

            If the bike is your primary mode of transportation, then you can put it under the vehicle exemption, or if it will fit in on top of other vehicles as previously stated.

              thanx for your response.. no it is not ... i just ride on weekends for fun and practice. after this is all said and bk is done i hope to get a new bike anyway.
