    We went in this afternoon to sign the petition.... the attorney prepared it while we were there in case we needed to add more creditors, which we did. We looked it over throroughly everything was correct, we signed and he is filing it today.

    Then he's faxing over a form to husbands job about the garnishment and it will be taken off. So hopefully with the next paycheck we won't see the garnishment.

    I am so darn happy to have this part done. Can't wait for the rest. He said we should have the meeting with the Trustee in 3-4 weeks.

      It is a fantastic word. I can't wait until I get to say it. But for now I am just super happy to have that garnishment off of hubbies paycheck.

        Congratulations! We just filed on the 27th, and we're nervous about the 341 but excited to be able to start over. I don't want to see another credit card with a limit over $500!!! And then only ONE!

          I don't think I ever want to see a credit card again. I have my bank card thats enough for me... for now.

            Our attorney actually told us to get a gas card after we file to start slowly building credit up. I agree, less danger involved with a gas card.
