Anyone have the experience of being pushed toward a 13 if means shows noo income, but I and J do? If so, how much disposable income was available, and what was the end result?

Can't speak for anyone else, but
I asked my attorney about this and he said they don't do anything but glance at the expenses if you are under the median income. He told us if we are to up our groceries, clothing, etc. which wouldn't be too hard for us with a family of 5 and the diapers we buy, etc.

We were below the Median. When our attny finished with our BK petition, our Net Disposable Income was $11.32 on I vs J.
Here's a link for you to help with Expenses:

Many times people in financial trouble don't buy needed things or spend money for many routine necessities.
We didn't buy any amount of clothes to speak of for about 3 years. We haven't been to the dentist in ages, except when absolutely necessary. We just get our hair cut whenever it gets really bad. Once, maybe 2x a year.
But when we figured for expenses for Schedule J, I added up haircuts as if we went every 6 weeks like many regular folk do. Our attny added in for clothing based on the Schedules Allowables and what the Court is used to seeing here.
For your medicals,........... Don't forget to include OTC's. Tylenol, ibuprophen, vitamins, cough syrup, and such.
Think about your expenses in terms of how you should live. Not how you actually do live.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06

I was over the Median due to 2 full time jobs. BUT the means test proved I had negative disposable (- $65 odd dollars - so no abuse) YET schedule I and J proved I had $800 disposable income!
