Don't feel bad. My husband forgot the ONE thing we were repeatedly told not to forget - his SSN card. We had the same result - fax it in ASAP. We faxed it that very day, didn't have to go back to court, and were promptly discharged two days after the original deadline for objections.

ChainSmokin, when we went to our 341, our attorney didn't tell us to bring anything but our id's and ss cards. We weren't even ask about either id's or ss cards and never even had to show them at the 341 and the trustee never asked for anything additional. But, I did bring a bag full of "anything and everything" just IN CASE I agree with you, get a good lawyer that has a good relationship with the trustee's and you will have many many less headaches! I still think the best lawyer to get is the one that ppl over and over recommend and specializes in bk. Ours was highly recommended and now I see why, he was exceptional.
Way to go on your 341 going smoothly, other than the bank statement and that was no biggie! Welcome to the 60 day club!

Our lawyer forgot to bring last years tax return and the trustee just pushed our case back a little why he ran to the office to get it. She did our 341 when he returned. Just more evidence that you weren't the only one to forget something simple and obvious.

I hand delivered the bank statement, yesterday. My attorney happened to be there and he looked it over and said it looked fine, made a copy and gave my original back. He told office chick to fax it off. Then I punched him in the stomach, just kidding.

I’m going to wait until I see a completed 341 meeting on PACER before I consider myself in the 60 day club.

Someone here a week or two back mentioned they had trouble finding their 341 meeting place, so I made sure I found the room a few days before. If I had to do it over again, I would have also sat in on a session. Seeing how fast the trustee ripped through the cases would have set my mind at ease. This also would have tipped me off to exactly what the trustee wanted to see.

I finished my debtor education course today, easy stuff but glad I read through their online booklet, they are definitely looking for some specific answers in some areas. Also of note, It took about an hour to get them on the phone, and had to listen to a 30 minute post BK spiel before they would fax it off to my attorney.
