    Help Me Understand...

    Okay my 341 has passed... I am now just waiting for the discharged. I totally forgot I owed eBay and PayPal some money. Long story short the person said the item came damaged and paypal refunded them there money PLUS the person didnt even send me the item back. eBay I just owe them for the listing fee.

    Is it to late to add them to my mailing matrix?!?!?!

    How much was the item? Does eBay or Paypal want to you pay back for the item? How much do you owe eBay and Paypal. Here’s a thread about unsecured debt. I would be interested to hear opinions on weather this is a secured debt or unsecured.

      It's not too late to add them. Add them as soon as possible. That way, they won't try and collect. If you filed with an attorney, talk to him/her about it. This appears to be an honest mistake, so it should be no big deal.

      If your case is a no asset case, debts owed to unlisted creditors are discharged as well, so long as no fraud occurred. Had you forgotten about eBay and PayPal until after discharge, your discharge would still cover them. The theory behind this is that they are not prejudiced by your not listing them - they would get nothing if they had been listed.

        I filed Pro Se

        So it was a simple no asset case. I just for a friendly reminder about it. I owe paypal 165.00 and ebay 5.15 yes its chump change BUT I think the buyer was lying plus I didnt get the merchandise back.

        Honestly the only reason I remember is because I signed up for both srvcs again and then paypal froze my acct saying that I have 2 accts and I have to clear up issues with the other acct. which I owed that money to but the debt occured over 3 yrs ago

          It is currently cloudy and high in the mids 40's with a chance of rain in the morning............sorry couldn't resist.
          Filed 8/25/06, Discharged 11/28/06, CASE CLOSED 11/14/2007!
