Another question about schedule I (income)

If I have been working for a company and the income is below the states median and therefore eligible for a chapter 7 bk and lost or quit my job and
no longer had any income, how long would I have to wait after leaving the
job before I could file bk7? Just wondering if there is a time limit involved.

If you were below the Median while you were employed, the longer you are unemployed, the lower your 6 month CMI will be.

Probably the only waiting period you'd need to abide by would be the 70/90 Day Rule on Cash Advances/Charges.

Just my 2 cents:

Technically you are unemployed, not making a dime, I would think you would be able to file right away. I was working 2 full time jobs, they wanted $800 a month to confirm a ch13 plan. I decided to quit one job, and converted to ch7 right away, no further questions, no rechecking income, waiting to be discharged in about another 3 1/2 weeks! (CROSSING MY FINGERS)
