3 Month Job do I have to tell?!?!?!

Okay my 341 meeting is this week...

BUT my discharge won't happen until after February. My friend's company has a contract with Verizon for 3 months which will gross me if I sign on for this temporary assignment a lil over 30G's for the 3 months after March it's over and I go back to doing whatever it was I was doing before.

My question is do I have to report that to the trustee? And if I don't will they find out?

Princesskina In the case of a Chapter 7 the Trustee usually only looks at your previous six months of income prior to filing BK.I know you need to let him know if you have a 'windfall' or win the lottery but I would not offer the information unless he specifically asks about any change in income.
Maybe someone else can offer you a different point of view.

I was in chapter 13 because i was working 2 full time jobs, i converted to chapter 7 because i quit one job!
Ive been doing overtime since i converted (and making ALMOST as much as if i was working 2 jobs).
I did not mentioned it to the Trustee, and he didn't ask. Im hoping for discharge in another month. Sooo, you should be alright. I don't have any assets to set off any red flags. When I filed Bk in the early 90's (which of course was much easier than) I scrambled working odd jobs here and there and the courts never checked on me.

      Just my two cents, Catchmeifyoucan

Be careful and read all the small print in your paperwork. Somewhere it may tell you to report if there are "changes", "significant changes", or state a specific percent change.

Where you asked during your 341 if you anticipate and changes in income? (That is a standard question that the trustee is supposed to ask.)
