    Jacksonville, FL Trustees

Set to file on Thursday and will get a trustee out of Jacksonville, FL. Our attorney said the trustees in this office are notoriously "thorough".

Has anyone had any experience with trustees in this office? If so anything I need to know to be prepared beyond the paperwork/legal side. I have confidence that our attorney will have us prepared on that end. Just looking for other info like if this office has anything they look at more closely or scrutinize more heavily...thanks!

I had Alexander G. Smith. No problems, and my 341 took about 90 seconds.

We had Crews. I would categorize him as thorough, but fair. That was under the old laws, though. I don't know how things have been since then.

Thats an important aspect, mine was under the old laws also. So I don't mean to give you a false sense of confidence based on my results. But another thing I can tell you is that your trustee/judge will most likely be based on the first letter of your last name. Alexander G. Smith happened to have the section of letters at the end of the alphabet which my last name begins with. If you go on pacer and search the most recent cases from the middle district of florida with the most common last name that starts with the same letter as yours, you can probably pre-determine who your trustee/judge will be and read up on some of the cases that they've recently done.

We got Gregory Atwater...I've signed up with Pacer, so I'll take a look at some of his other cases.
