Okay, so this may be a dumb question .. what do you think is happening while one is waiting out the 60-90 discharge in Chapter 7 (NO ASSETS)
Does your file sit on the back burner?
Is the Trustee/Creditor trying to find if you have hidden assets?
After you've turned in all your statements (pay stubs, previous and current tax forms, etc), doesn't the trustee BEFORE the 341 meeting review all this and determine if there is substantial for abuse?
BTW, I got my paystubs back and my transcripts after I re-filed for Chapter 7, so I'm assuming no further inquiries?
I'm just so curious if there is any pending action being taken (besides the creditors contemplating whether to file their objection(s).
Since I'm down to one job, but am working OT, is the trustee checking that I stay below the median (not making extra money). I don't have to give him my soon to be copy of my 2006 tax return, he has asked for nothing extra since my 341 meeting.
I still continue to gamble (but responsibly - I no longer have cc's to rely on) and I have hit some nice chunk of change since I filed. I've kept the "xtra," money out of my bank accounts and just keep the cash on me. So "no-one," knows.
