I am currently filling out my BK 7 forms and have a question on foreclosed property. I had a condo that was forclosed on April of this year. It had a equity line of credit attached to it with the same lending institution as the mortgage. When reviewing the foreclosure and auction details I did not see where the equity line of credit was forgiven. Upon reviewing my credit report I noted the loan was actually sold shortly before the forclosure and had Fannie Mae as the owner. The first thing is if Fannie Mae owns it can I even list it in the BK? I do want to list the whole mortgage and line of credit in the BK to cover any future problems of them coming after me. Also when I list it would it go with the Schedule A "Real Property"? Probably a dumb question but I was advised to list it.
