Hi Guys and Gals
SHREWWWWWW, some may know my story, some may not. In Brief: I was working 2 full time jobs and originally filed for Ch13. I proposed $250 pay back, but the trustee saw that I could pay $800 (practically my whole paycheck from my day job). The decision went to the judge, even though the median test proved I had no disposable income, schedules I and J proved different, but the judge did not want to decide on the case and asked us to resubmit another pay plan (basically, quit one job, or spend more more to lower my disposable income). After careful consideration, I thought to myself why suffer the next 5 years paying back $800 when I can just quit one job for "a minute," and pick back up after a couple months.
So I quit one job, and filed for Chapter 7.
I had another 341 meeting TODAY! YOU KNOW I was nervous. But it went sooo sooo smoothly. I was sooo sooo sooo estactic! Being a GAMBLER, I really thought I'd have issues. But my gambling addiction was never brought up. The Trustee that was filling in for the Trustee that was soppose to show up (maybe that helped - I dunno). The only question he raised was why I was filing for Ch 7. Both my lawyer and I said, because I could no longer handle working 80 hours a week. He smiled and said, "That's a good reason!"
Now just waiting it out. Still am nervous though of getting objections, but half the battle is over!
Thank you all for this wonderful site and support!
