    ~*Questions about the 341 Meeting Process*~

Hi, I'm filing pro se, and as I have been reading through these posts, I am wondering the steps of the 341 and the items I need to bring with.

My bankruptcy case is very simple, Filing for Chapter 7, I have a car that I can claim exempt, and only 8 total medical and credit card bills that I had to file. The total of my debt is 12,400. I haven't worked since October and still can not find a job.

I filed on February 5th and am awaiting my 341 meeting.

Here is what I think I should bring, let me know if you guys know anything else!! Thanks so much!
    1. State ID ( I have a ticket so my drivers license got taken away)
    2. Social Security Card
    3. Bank statements from the past 5 months
    4. The title of my car? ( This one i'm not sure about, its just a thought)
    5. My past 3 tax return forms
    6. Copies of all of my current bills that I am claiming.

Please let me know what to bring!! Thanks !!!

It't hard for anyone here to give you specific advice about what to bring as their are regional differences on what is required.

    Minimally, bring the following
    1. Current Photo ID
    2. Social Security Card
    3. Bank Statements for THREE months, covering the month your filed your BK and the two months prior to your filing
    4. Tax returns for two years.

You typically do not have to provide the title to your car, and generally, you do not need to supply credit card statements unless you have used them in the 3 months before fiing.

All of those items aren't typically needed during the 341 meeting. Just bring a briefcase with you to the meeting and have those items at your disposal - Just in Case. Typically, all thats need are two forms valid ID's.

        Good Luck!
