It appears that in my state at least (I am in a different state from the one listed here, for confidentiality, so check with your state bankruptcy laws), that payments made from a lawsuit due to employer retaliation is exempt under loss of future earnings.
The trustee has to abandon a retaliation lawsuit, as the law clearly states.
Good news for me. But, I won't celebrate until the check clears and I am all set.
