Closing of a Ch 7 Case

Hey folks, I'm just curious, I filed late August, rec'd my d/c as scheduled, but my case has been open since late October. Is this normal? Is there something potentially coming "down the pike" that I should be preparing for? I called the courthouse early November just to ask about general closing and they basically said "hurry up and wait". The trustee hasn't filed anything and the last things filed were just the d/c order.

Are they awaiting to see any potential refund you have from a tax return? You'd have to see what the Trustee thinks and/or look at the status of your case in PACER. I assume that you filed the certificate for the 2nd class, and that the Trustee is the one holding up your case.
