I feel like I can draw a deep breath for the first time in months! It went just like you all said it would, the standard questions were asked, blah, blah, blah and "Have a good Day!" Now I belong to the 60 Day Club and this whole nightmare will be behind us!

Is that right? I always thought it was from the day of your discharge, not the day of your filing!
If that is true, than I'm only about 18 days away!!!!

Yes, I realize that but this was certainly a big hurdle for us to overcome. Our case was so cut and dried that there is really no reason for the case to ever be reviewed, but I am aware it can happen.Filed..........August 10. 2006

That's what I thought, BB.
Windfalls, the Trustee can go after for 180 days after filing.
Review for suspicion of abuse and/or fraud, 1 year from closing.
Anyway,...............
Congrats, Connie!!

The Trustee could petition to reopen your case if suspicion of abuse or fraud.
Trustee could also petition 2 years after closing if fraud was involved in a windfall (i.e., hiding a known inheritence).Last edited by BassBoy; 09-22-2006, 10:46 AM.Bankruptcy History:
