    Chapter 7 after divorce

I filed Chapter 7 a few weeks ago on Back taxes all dischargeable. I have been divorced for 8 years and my ex is thinking that she will file as well. She asked me about using my attorney since he is one of the experts in BK for taxes.

I don't have an issue with it and my attorney has stated that he does not see a problem either. Does anyone have thoughts on this? Is there anything that could blow up in my face over this?

No issues. You are years post divorce. The attorney will just treat her as any other client and should not discuss either case with either of your... attorney-client privilege and all.

Now, if you were filing and about to get divorced, or had divorced and had some domestic support obligations and orders as part of that divorce, then it could get tricky.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
