Before I filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy I had pawned a ring and a watch for $200. (I listed these as jewelry items in my filing.) About two weeks after filing, I redeemed the items from the pawn shop. (Their "real" value is maybe $600 total). Should I mention this to my attorney or no harm, no foul? I will not pawn them again and will have them should the court want them from me. I feel bad about this but I honestly forgot and paid for the items out of habit. The pawn shop had no clue I'd filed because I did not list them. I know this is not a lot of money but I feel scared I will be in trouble. Thank you so much if anybody knows where I stand?

I would let them know. When you listed them in the bankruptcy, did you list that they had liens against them? I don't think that matters so long as you had exemptions to cover the property. I'd hate that you redeemed the property only to have the Trustee want them because they were "non" exempt.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
