Will Wells Fargo take back our jewelry?

    Hi,
We are newly married (2 years) and signed a reaffirmation agreement to Wells Fargo so we could keep our wedding rings. It would break my heart if we lost our jewelry!

If we cancel the reaffirmation prior to discharge, what are the chances Wells Fargo
    will take our jewelry back?

We already signed the reaffirmation at the 341 hearing, but hubby got a call from attorney yesterday saying we need to sign a new agreement because Wells Fargo put the wrong amount down.

We filed June 30, 2016 and 341 hearing was Sept 10, 2016. What are your thoughts?

    Thank you!

Is this debt secured? If so, they may certainly try to repossess it if the value exceeds the cost of reposessing it.

Also, you have 60 days from the date of the agreement to rescind. That date is quickly approaching.

At the risk of hijacking the thread, if W-F put down the wrong amount, delivered the form, and it was signed at the 341, shouldn't W-F be forced to live with the incorrect total?

Probably, but we don't know that the error is in OP's favor.
          LadyInTheRed is in the black!
Filed Chap 13 April 2010. Discharged May 2015.
$143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!
