    Credit report

    Hey guys me again!

I've been Checking my credit report A LOT (I know it updates once a month) but all of my accounts are reporting Closed-Derogatory, and one says in the remarks chp 7 BK. Now my question is should I start disputeing these now, since I discharge on the 29, or just wait.

I'm anxious to get my report cleaned because I'm going to get a car hopefully Quickly after discharge. Hopefully that following week or two.

    What is there to dispute?

The accounts were closed. Discharged in BK. the account closing is correct. That it was not closed by paying it off...is correct. The remarks..chp 7 bk is correct.

They are not showing in collection. The amounts have been zeroed. I don't see anything to dispute.

How things report vary. I suspect "derogatory" is what appears in a summary of the report, not actually what the creditor reported. The creditor reporting IIB, could result in it showing up as derogatory in some places because IIB is derogatory. Your accounts will report that way for 7 years.

You are very likely to get a loan immediately after Chap 7, but the terms probably won't be great. The more time that passes, the better rates you will get, assuming you rebuild your credit by using it sparingly and responsibly.

If there is anything to be disputed on your reports, wait until at least 30 days after discharge.

$143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!
