    How long should I wait to see if all my debts say discharged on my credit report?
    When should I start applying for credit to rebuild?

        RedToBlack, I'm expecting to be discharged soon as well and I will start filing disputes for any debt not discharged after a month. My goal is to have my credit report clean and start with credit union signature loans and capital one credit card. I've heard to stay away from department store cards and don't go above 20% usage the first year. I know all this as I've been researching it myself since I'm quickly due for a discharge and I noticed the wife and I had a joint card that was discharged in my name the 2nd week after filing but it's still not cleared in her name. Already plan to file a dispute on that one the day I'm discharged
