I will definitely be staying around. Like I said, I know I still have a few battles to fight. Getting the case closed, getting the wage garnishment back, getting the money back from the Trustee that they owe me, etc etc

Well, the loan FINALLY funded today. We had a couple of bumps in the road with the wire and the wire instructions (nobody expected a Chapter 13 to end smoothly, did they??).

But this afternoon I got the funds.....I already moved 3/4 of it into a savings account.

Now...the last battle is getting them to remove the wage garnishment!

Good for you! Feels good huh? You have fought a valiant fight in the land of Ch.13... Taking on wage garnishment is no biggie. But, be patient. It will take awhile for PACER and NDC to catch up.

Keep checking NDC. Its kinda fun to watch the activity...see you case statuses change. I loved it when is updated to 'COMPLETED'.

Congrats to you. Take a nice vacation...within the budget, of course!

Ha! Funny you say that....I just checked NDC this morning. It is the first website I check every morning when I get into work, hoping to see some activity.

I think when it changes the case to COMPLETED, I may make a screen print and hang it on the wall above my home office to remind me to be frugal.

Can you believe my employer got the order to CEASE the wage garnishment today???? My HR dept said it was received and already put into the system, so my last garnishment was my pay period. Starting this month, no more garnishment!!

I admit, this is VERY surprising. From what I have read on this board, it seems like some posters waited months and months to get this wage garnishment stopped! Now, if they can send me that $4,600 that they are holding from previous garnishments the last two months...... ;)
