dunk101, no I paid in $2 extra, so that was refunded when all the creditors got they last checks, last week. My final month was January, so you are a month a head of me. The NDC still says active, not sure when that changes and nothing new is on pacer, so yes I am waiting patiently also.

Hi dunk101. I am also in Eastern Pennsylvania... I think what she might be referring too is if you end up with a credit on your account once the creditors are paid the amount the trustee wants them to have .. On my account I am showing a $ 950cr & my plan shows completed on 12-1-14.. I may get a refund check for that amount . That is what I believe she is talking about.

klandsb, yes you are correct. Funny how nothing ever seems consistent, they already sent me back the credit, but my plan still shows active.

              Congrats!

Three things you will hear from people in this forum, myself included, is "I wished that I filed BK sooner", "I wished I researched more before I filed" and "I wished I used this forum before I filed". I spent three years researching BK and still didn't know everything I needed to know. This is a complicated legal process that has no one marketing its benefits, but you will find many who will talk up it's stigma. Where I live, I have yet to see an attorney advertise his/her services on TV, radio, or print. Yet I will regulary see or hear ads for "debt relief" firms, especially on satellite radio.

It is also amazing that with the number of BK filers in the USA even on a weekly basis, that this forum doesn't get more activity. I though people would be naturally curious about this process and seek out info. Like that car insurance commercial, I'd like to think that spending 15 minutes on this forum can save you 15 percent or more on your Ch 13 payment!
