    Case Flag MonAlx?

Any ideas on what this case flag MonAlx in a chapter 13 could mean? My mom received "In Compliance Motion" from courts today and this is listed as case flag. Thanks

Looks like it's "Monroe Case in Alexandria" (MONALX). Does she live in Louisiana? If she does, it appears that there may be one or more judges that work in both Monroe and Alexandria. They use this flag to determine where the case is actually heard (the venue). We don't use such flags here in Florida, but we do have (bankruptcy) judges that work in two different courthouses.

That bankruptcy division also uses a code MONSHR for "Monroe Case in Shreveport". I take it to mean that the main courthouse for the Western Division is in Monroe, but certain judges hear cases in Monroe, Alexandria, and Shreveport Louisiana.

Welcome to the official website for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Louisiana. We have staffed offices in Shreveport, Alexandria and Lafayette. We additionally hold court in Monroe and Lake Charles.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)

That makes sense.... she is living in Washington state now, but her bk was filed in Monroe a couple of years before she moved. I had tried to google it and could find anything. Thanks!!!
