    Status changed to "about to close" today

    On Dec 1st I made what I thought should be my last payment, however on NDC its shows a difference of $43 that I still owe to meet the base plan amount..

    I did notice my status changed however. It had been "6 months to completion" for a long time, but today it changed to "about to complete".

    Can anyone give me any insight on this? Just curious how much longer it'll be before discharge.

    NDC is often not accurate. Call your attorney to confirm you do not need to make any more payments.

    Filed Chap 13 April 2010. Discharged May 2015.
    $143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!

      that happen to me and today i just got the letter of discharge ,my last payment was in 11/2014 so it was fast

        Congrats that is great news!

        I hope mine moves along now.. After 5 long years of this I am sure ready to move on!

        And my status actually says "about to complete"..

          FullBoost . when ur talking statuses are you referring to NDC ???? or a different website.. Maybe different states have different statuses ???

              Hmmm.. Mine states : J - completed funds to creditors... IDK, I am not in a 100% plan so I am thinking my discharge w/drag out. Trustees office states another disbursement will be entered at the end of Dec. then something else w/be entered in Jan 2015.. I know I need to be patient but its hard. I keep telling myself it will be over soon enough. ha,ha
