Thanks. Everyone was OK, so far. I was achy the next two days but am good to go now.

Since we are so close to discharge I think I will just buy something cheap like a bike I want anyway then finance a car after discharge. We are in Southern California so even though its cold its not to cold to ride. Rain is another story but I did it for years. Fingers crossed the insurance payout is high enough.

Sorry about the accident, Spidge. A bike is a great solution. But don't forget about the expected el nino! Keep an eye out for cars for sale that are the same year and model as yours and make sure they pay you the true value of the car. That's easier said than done, but don't be afraid to negotiate with the adjuster.

              AT LAST!!!!

FINAL CH13 PAYMENT IS IN THE MAIL!!!!!!

I'm so ready to go out and party like...., shoot I think I will stick to buying my first flat screen TV. What a great feeling of accomplishment. Better than paying off my first motorcycle and car. Statement of financial responsibility and/or change, post filing course, and $2K for the AP to complete the lien strip will be in Attorney's hands on Monday.

Insurance paid me an OK amount, but charged me the deductible until fault is determined. That is frustrating but understandable. Hopefully this or next weekend I will have some wheels under me again.

WHO WHOOOOO!!!! Did I say I am excited?

On Wednesday the 25th the status on 13Network changed from "active" to "case being audited". This change was done even though the last payment does not show received with one payment to go.

Yesterday we received a small refund from the trustee and the case status is "Audit for completion pending FR dated 12/9/2015". I assume "FR" stands for Final Revue.

I am excited but disappointed at the same time. I had a game plan and was ready to pay the $2k for the lien strip, but instead I had to use all the funds to purchase my truck to replace my car. I do like my truck very much especially since there is no payment, but I would rather have the lien strip paid and complete. We have until the end of January and I think we should be able to handle it and still enjoy some gift giving for Christmas.

So we are in a bit of a holding pattern again, but we have done it before.

I am so looking forward to someone else not having dibs on my paycheck or checkbook.

The fact you had $2000 for the lien strip or the truck (wherever it had to go)..is a blessing in itself. You're at the end and that's all that matters!!!!!

                      Enjoy the holiday!!!!!

For timeline sake I wanted to share the we received in the mail a court notice filed by the trustee. It is titled "NOTICE OF INTENT TO FILE TRUSTEE'S FINAL REPORT AND ACCOUNT, OBTAIN DISCHARGE OF TRUSTEE, AND CLOSE CASE. (COMPLETED CASE.)"

On the same notice it states that the Final Report will be filed not less than 30 days from today's date.

                        Getting closer.

For the sake of the timeline.

Attorney just sent me their "notice of application for entry of discharge". Another item they did without me prompting it. I like my attorney more and more as we get closer.

Finding the $2k for the lien strip is proving tougher than first thought, but it will happen one way or the other.

Thanks AC for the celebratory dance.

Still waiting for discharge and have another $1K to come up with for the Adversarial Proceeding in order to complete the lien strip without the lender(note holder) having to do anything. All I can say is being a little behind on some bills may be OK in my book, in order to have this AP at the ready. The folks(dirtbags(SLS)) that hold the note for the second which will be stripped change the servicing address like a woman changes shoes. Yes its sexy(exciting when we men figure it out) and yes we men do notice(ok mostly), so the attorney has been advised. In order to come up with the $2K I have had to defer some bills but there are no late fees involved, so good to go.

My simplistic mind puts us even by the end of March and having a full paycheck free and clear every month thereafter. That was my goal all along., but no celebrating until the poo gets sliced up in the fan.

We are so close I am......, s@#t I don't have a word for it.

                                Great timing.

Yesterday we received the trustees final audit and accounting with a notation in very small writing to discharge him from his duties and all that go with completing the case. We also have the last payment for the attorney to complete the lien strip.

                                Should be done shortly.
