Hi all, I have a quic question to see if anyone has experienced it or knows what can be done. I am currently in my first year of a 100 percent payback chapter 13. I am married and I filed alone. I live in Wisconsin which is a community property state so my attorney explained that I can add my wife's creditors to my bankruptcy since ecause we are married her debt is my debt. So I do this but her creditors continue to send demands for payment, and are now threatening to sue. We have contacted them numerous times regarding what was happening, and sometimes they have said they made a note of it and sometimes they would argue that my wife's debt could not be included unless she filed bk. I contacted my attorney several times and they were supposed to handle it, yet I'm still getting demands for her creditors. They did NOT file a claim and are now ready to charge off the accounts and sue?? Not sure what to do. I am going to call my attorney again, but they have not helped the situation this far. What to do??
