    Expense question

My confirmation hearing set for 2-5:if trustee contested any of my expenses, determining my DMI, would I have heard of it by now? After confirmation if I reduce expenses ie;cheaper cell phone or lowering my cable bill do I have to report it?? I had expected that the trustee would disallow some of my current expenses but my lawyer told me not to worry about it as he saw nothing "out of the ordinary" on my expenses. If trustee contests your expenses wouldn't it be done before confirmation??

You would typically know at the 341 Meeting whether the Trustee was going to oppose your confirmation. An opposition to confirmation is filed when the Trustee does not like your numbers. If your attorney says that you are good, then you are good. As for reporting a reduction in expenses, it is not necessary. How you manage your money is up to you! I applaud you for wanting to save money and establish a rainy day fund! It -- the fund -- is a necessity in a Chapter 13.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
