Hi - my plan is hitting 100% shortly. How does my payroll get notified to stop sending payments? Does the court issue another order to them?

This entirely depends on your District. Personally, I would immediately contact my attorney and ask specifically what needs to be done. in some Districts, the Chapter 13 Standing Trustee is the one that files the Order Vacating Wage Deduction Order. In other Districts, it is the responsibility of the debtor (or debtor's attorney)!Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

Took my trustee 3 months to stop wage order after plan was completed, and only then because I contacted the trustee's office, who knows how long it would have gone on otherwise. I got a nice refund check back afterwards, but was still a hassle, so I'd also suggest contacting the trustee.Filed CH 13 September 17, 2007
Plan Modified July 8, 2009 from $1100/month to $400/month due to change in income, finally discharged in July of 2013!
