Is our chapter 13 plan( 36 month ) finished from the date of when the petition was filed, plan filed or confirmed date? The petition date is October 4 2010 so hopefully we are almost done. Will we be getting any kind of confirmation as well from the trustee? Thanks

You should be contacting your lawyer about completing your post filing debtor education course, your stoppage of payments and final closing of your case. This your responsibility and is not "automatic". The trustee has thousands of cases and could easily overlook the upcoming completion of yours.
Our count down started from the first payment which was two weeks from our file date. Our file date was July 17, 2009, but our confirmation was not until February 8, 2010.Filed July 2009. Discharged 08/08/2014. Awaiting closing. We made it !!!! Woo-hoo!

How the 60 months is counted is either from the first payment or when the plan is confirmed. The overwhelming majority of States (and Districts) count it form the first payment. There are a couple of Districts which start from confirmation. I do not know what the policy would be for Washington state.
Always reach out to your attorney, or us, if you are unsure of anything. There are some things that are just too specific to your filing District and may only be answered by your attorney.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
